HARRADINE HAS ALL GEAR STOLEN FROM AIS
Tuesday, April 12th 2010
During a pre-national preparation camp at the AIS in Canberra, Discus Thrower Benn Harradine had all of his competition and training equipment stolen from the AIS throwing field. Between 6pm Saturday evening and 10:30am Sunday morning a padlocked silver steel box was stolen from the throwing field. The gear has no value to the general public, but the Olympian says it has a great deal of sentimental value to him. If anyone has any information please contact Crimestoppers.

LIFTING THE LEVEL
Sunday, May 23rd 2010
Novocastrian discus thrower Benn Harradine has been pushing himself forward towards achieving his goals whilst competing in Europe. The Australian and Oceania record holder commented that it has been a smart decision coming back to Germany alone to focus on lifting his levels.
“Coming back to Germany has probably been one of the smartest decisions of my career to date.” Harradine said.
“I needed the time to focus purely on myself and use this year to push my levels and has proven successful so far”
Harradine will compete at the Continental Cup early September before finalising his preparations for Commonwealth Games in Kienbaum.
